WorthNow is not a government agency
WorthNow is a product operated by The Ask Why Company. It is not a government agency, benefits administrator, social-service agency, or law firm. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, WorthNow is not affiliated with or endorsed by a government agency, 211 organization, nonprofit, or benefits provider shown in the service.
We can help identify resources, not decide eligibility
WorthNow may help you find programs or resources that appear relevant based on information you provide. A statement such as "you may qualify" is informational only. The administering agency or organization controls eligibility, enrollment, funding, documentation requirements, waiting lists, and final decisions.
Programs change
Benefit levels, income limits, household rules, geographic coverage, funding, participating providers, and application processes can change. WorthNow aims to use authoritative or approved sources and to show source context when practical, but you should confirm current information with the administering organization before relying on it.
No fee to apply through WorthNow
WorthNow will not charge a user a government-program application fee merely for being directed to an official public-benefit resource. If a third party charges for a separate service, that charge should be disclosed by that provider before you agree to it.
Protect sensitive information
Do not send Social Security numbers, benefit account credentials, full financial account numbers, immigration documents, medical records, or other highly sensitive documents through general-purpose WorthNow notes, feedback, or email unless a specific secure workflow requests them and explains why they are needed.
Official applications stay official
When a program requires an official application, WorthNow should direct you to the administering agency or an approved enrollment partner. WorthNow does not bypass eligibility controls, membership rules, benefit restrictions, or agency verification requirements.
